Camp is over, but it's just the beginning.

Camp is over. You keep hearing it over and over. But as the title says, it's just beginning. I played 15 years and was never involved in a situation where so many roster spots were up for grabs. That's the nature of a young team. Because they are young, you don't know what you have. You must go deeper into the preseason games as a coach to really find out what you have.
It's often a complaint that there are too many preseason games, or that they don't matter. That isn't the case in either situation. The Chiefs wouldn't want any more than four, but it will do just fine.
Positions to watch: Well, I could probably list them all, but of particular interest to me is O Line(I know, shocker). The right side is very unsettled right now in my mind. We have to have protection from the Tackle and we must have a guard that is mobile. To me, the jury is still out. This isn't to say we don't have players capable, I just want to see it first.

The return game is interesting as well. B.J. Sams is returning punts and Jamaal Charles kicks. B.J. will have to prove that he's worth the roster spot if that is indeed all he does. If he can make an impact at receiver in some way, shape or form, then it would go a long way towards helping him continue his career.
